Description

Joyce Cottage is a house, likely built in the early 19th century. It features finely herringbone-tooled sandstone and has a pantiled roof with stone copings and kneelers. The ground floor is partly rendered. The building is two storeys high and has two bays, with an irregular layout. The right side has a four-panel door situated under a gabled hood supported by ornate brackets. On the left, there are two 12-pane sash windows set in wooden architraves, complete with projecting sills. The first floor has a central 15-pane sash window with a similar architrave and sill, along with an inserted six-pane casement window to the left. The gable copings are supported by large curved kneelers.
