Description
The front wall and outbuilding to The Grange, dating from the early 19th century, consists of a garden wall and an outbuilding. The outbuilding is constructed from coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone and features a Welsh slate roof. The wall to the east of the shed is made of plain sandstone in large blocks. The shed includes two six-panel doors and an original Yorkshire sash window facing north, along with a low-pitched roof that has coped gables. A small modern window has been inserted in the east end of the shed. Just east of the outbuilding, there is an entrance gateway with a stone lintel inscribed "THE GRANGE." Beyond this, the wall slopes down in a series of ramps leading to the end of the garden, with flat copings throughout.
