Description

This is a house, originally part of a non-uniform row, built in two phases during the early to mid-18th century and later in the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared, and tooled sandstone. The roof has been renewed with French tiles and features stone copings, kneelers, and chimney stacks.

The older left section is two storeys high and two bays wide. It has casement windows in wide, chamfered surrounds; the original mullions have been lost. Below are casements, and above are Yorkshire sash windows, all within similar surrounds. An enlarged fire window is located on the first floor to the right. The right section is three storeys high and one bay wide, probably representing a rebuilding of an original downhouse. It has a half-glazed four-panel door at the left, positioned within a hearth passage. The upper floor has a six-pane sash window. Both sections have copings, block kneelers, and a corniced chimney on the left side.
