Description
Priory Farmhouse and the attached outbuilding date from the early 19th century. They feature herringbone-tooled sandstone walls and dressings, with a timber doorcase and slate roofs. The farmhouse has a central entry and a rear service wing that extends up the sloping ground into the farmbuilding. It is two stories tall with a three-window front. The entrance includes a 20th-century door set in a pilastered doorcase topped with a cornice hood. Throughout the building, there are 16-pane sash windows with stone sills and lintels. The gables are coped with plain kneelers, and there are end stacks.
On the left side, the house gable wall is adjacent to a two-story wing and a one-and-a-half-story farmbuilding range, which features a 12-pane sash window in the gable wall. A 20th-century pent porch and door have been added to the one-and-a-half-story range, located to the left of a 20th-century replacement window. At the left end of the building, there are two semicircular cart arches made of voussoirs, with double doors and shuttered pitching openings above. The porch is noted as not being of special interest.
