There is a line of 12 boundary stones located on the border with Westerdale Civil Parish, running south from Gallow Howe to the foot of Brown Hill. These stones date from around 1835 and are made of hard sandstone. Each stone is square and stands up to 1 meter high, featuring roughly-rounded tops. The east face of each stone is inscribed with a "D" for Danby, while the west face has a "W" for Westerdale. The tops of the stones are whitewashed.
