Description

This is a mid 19th century farm store located 100 metres east of Home Farmhouse in Copythorne. The building has a rectangular timber frame with boarded walls and a slate roof. It features a hay-loft doorway in a half dormer above a standard doorway, as well as a cart entrance beneath a gable. The Home Farm group of buildings exemplifies a typical layout of the period, with the farm structures arranged around a large courtyard, separated from the two houses by a roadway.
