Description

Ye Olde Forge Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th or 19th century. It has cob walls at the eastern end and brick that has been rendered white. The cottage features a thatched roof and is 1½ storeys tall, with the eastern bay being slightly higher and a 1-storey outshut at the west end under the same roof. The building is 5 bays wide, with mostly modern reproduction casements. Notable features include a thatched brick porch and a brick buttress.
