Description
Beehive Cottage is a lodge that has been converted into a cottage. It dates from the late 18th century and was extended in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is made of rendered brick and features a thatched roof with brick stacks. It is two storeys high and has two bays, with a later two-bay wing added to the rear. The front of the cottage has a central panelled door, which is sheltered by a hipped hood supported by rustic tree trunk posts. On either side of the door, there are three round-light casements, and above, there is a three-light casement with a segmental head, set within an eyebrow dormer. The roof is half-hipped and there are three diamond stacks at the center.
