Description

These are three houses, numbered 1-3, located on Smithy Brow in Ambleside. They appear to date to the 18th century, though the exact construction date is not specified. The walls are cement-rendered over a stone rubble core, with a flag roof and three slate chimneys. The houses are two storeys high. They have three modern front doors and four 16-paned sash windows on each floor. One window lacks glazing bars.
