Description

The gate and gate piers, located approximately 67 meters to the north of Broughton Tower, are likely from the 18th century. They are constructed from ashlar and cast iron. The square piers feature paired Tuscan angle pilasters with decorative bands, topped with a cornice and four simple pinnacles on each pier. The gates are made of cast iron and have spear finials.
