Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a cottage dated 1833, featuring the initials J. & H.B. (possibly for Beeby) on the porch keystone. The building is constructed of wet-dashed rubble and has a graduated slate roof with a stone ridge and rendered end chimneys. It is two storeys high and has three symmetrical bays. The central entrance consists of a panelled door set in a porch with monolithic stone cheeks and a moulded head. On either side of the door are paired sash windows, and there are three additional sash windows above, all framed in stone surrounds.
