Description
Cropple How Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of wet-dashed rubble and features an eaves chamfer. The roof is made of graduated slate, with stone copings and kneelers, and there are rendered chimneys at each end. The building has two storeys and three bays. There are steps leading up to a panelled door located in a porch that has monolithic cheeks and a moulded, depressed head. To the left of the door, there is a paired sash window, and to the right, a 20th-century casement window. Above, there are three 2-light stone mullioned casements. All windows have stone surrounds. There is a former barn adjoining to the left, but it is not of interest.
