Description
Yattus is a house dating from the 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of random rubble with stone detailing and features graduated slate roofs, stone ridges, and copings, as well as stone end chimneys. The house has a central gabled porch that includes a part-glazed inner door beneath a false four-centred head. To the left of the porch, there is a paired sash window with a Yorkshire sash above it, and a single sash window on each floor to the right. All windows are fitted with glazing bars and are set in stone surrounds, with hoodmoulds and labels on the ground floor. There is a lean-to attached to the north side and another house adjoining the south side, which are not of interest.
