Description
The Old King's Head Public House, first mentioned as Church House in 1666, likely dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and six bays. On the ground floor, there is a small-paned casement window in the first bay, a sash window with single glazing bars and horns in the second bay, and sashes with glazing bars in the third and fifth bays, with a paired sash in the third bay. The sixth bay has a window with small-paned fixed glazing. The first floor contains sashed windows with glazing bars, with the first two having horns. The entrance, located in the fourth bay, is marked by a flat bracketed canopy and a six-panel door. The building has a gable-end stack and cross-axial stacks, while the rear features later outshuts.
