CLAIFE HIGH WRAY SD 39 NE Drinking Fountain 6/20 approx 20m from entrance to Hole House on south side of road

Drinking fountain. Dated 1891. Dressed slate with ashlar dressings. Crow-stepped gable over elliptical-arched recess with impost band taken round recess. Trough has rounded angles. Datestone above impost has initials AJRA. Stone below impost reads "IN MEMORY OF HAPPY DAYS". To right, a short wall and end pier with stone bench.
