Description

The Mounsey Monument is a headstone located approximately 15 meters south of St Peter's Church. It was erected in 1777 and is made of ashlar stone. The monument features flat pilasters and an open segmental pediment. An octagonal copper plate on the monument records the names of John Mounsey, who died in 1777 at the age of 80, and his wife Frances, who passed away in 1771 at the age of 90.
