18/7 Forge House with attached barn, stable, and byres

House; dated 1750, with initials I. & S.V. on porch lintel. Later additions and alterations. Barn/stable on left and byres (?) to right are late C18/early C19 additions. House pebble-dashed; barn/stable slobbered rubble with quoins, byres coursed rubble with quoins. All under single graduated slate roof with stone ridge. 2 storeys. House originally 3 bays: Central plank door in moulded porch with wide sash to either side and 2 above; chamfered eaves. Single bay, with sash to each floor, added on left; single bay with sash to each floor, and plank door, added on right. Most sashes in stone surrounds, all with glazing bars. Barn has segment-headed wagon door on right and 2 plank doors, with plank loft access above, on left. 2 plank doors to byres. Rendered chimneys to house, stone coping and kneeler to north end of barn.
