Description
Eycott Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1667, with alterations from 1762, located in Mungrisdale, Berrier. The date is inscribed over the right entrance. The building features painted roughcast walls beneath a graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers, along with stone chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a single bay to the right that may have originally been a stable, all under a common roof. There is a lower extension to the left and rear, creating an overall T-shape. A 20th-century door is set in a chamfered surround, complete with a dated frieze and cornice. The windows are also 20th-century, placed in 20th-century surrounds. To the right, there is a Tudor-arched doorway. The extension has a blocked window with a chamfered surround and an upper floor window featuring two lights with flat stone mullions. The rear extension includes sash windows in stone surrounds.
