Description

This boundary stone, located north-east of Murrah crossroads, is likely from the 19th century. It is made of split slate with a roughly-shaped head and is positioned on the north side of the road leading from Murrah to Low Moor Dyke. A cast-iron plate attached to the stone is inscribed with "TOWNSHIP OF BERRIER V MURRAH."
