Description
This is a 19th-century boundary stone located on the western side of the River Caldew, next to a footbridge and ford. The stone is made of slate and has a roughly-shaped head, standing about 0.5 meters high. On the south face of the stone, there is a white square cast-iron plate with a black border, which is inscribed with "TOWNSHIP OF MOSEDALE." The stone has partially slumped and now stands at an angle.
