Description
Mosedale House is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed and squared slate and cobble rubble, featuring rusticated sandstone quoins. It has a graduated greenslate roof and stone chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance consists of a four-panel door beneath a glazed fanlight, all set within a stone surround. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, also in stone surrounds, and there is a rear staircase window that has intersecting glazing bars. The adjoining barns include 20th-century additions that are not of interest. Mosedale House is listed partly for its group value with the Friends' Meeting House and Croft House.
