Description

Mosedale Bridge is a road bridge, likely rebuilt in the early 19th century, originally serving as a packhorse bridge. It is constructed from coursed Skiddaw slate with sandstone coping. The bridge features a single-span, segmental humped-back design that accommodates double track width. It has a solid parapet with chamfered coping. The bridge is currently by-passed.
