Description
Helton Methodist Chapel is a Methodist chapel dated and inscribed with 'WESLEYAN CHAPEL AD 1857'. It features limestone rubble walls with raised quoins and is topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of 2 bays, with a porch set back on the left side. The straight-headed windows have 2 Tudor-headed lights set in ashlar surrounds with plain spandrels and leaded glazing. The entrance to the porch has a segmental-pointed head and a plank door with studs and ornamental hinges. The rear of the chapel, which is set into the slope of the hill, has single lights.
