Description
This building is a barn, stable, and hayloft located to the north-east of the Ashes Farmhouse, likely dating from the 17th century with later alterations and additions. It features stone rubble walls with rough stone quoins and a graduated greenslate roof with a stone ridge. The barn consists of four bays, while the hayloft has three bays. On the east side, there are two windows with chamfered stone surrounds and mullions, and on the west side, there is one similar window that is damaged and blocked up, along with two later blocked openings featuring stone voussoirs. There are 20th-century stables to the south and a 20th-century lean-to on the west, which are not of interest.
