Description
This building is a barn, stables, and hayloft dating from the early to mid 19th century, located approximately 20 yards west of Ford House. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, featuring chisel dressed ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a clay tile roof. The barn has central full-height double-leaved doors, with the lower part blocked by brick and inserted windows. There are stable doors to the left and right of the center, and top-opening windows on both sides, with the left window partly blocked. A row of eight vertical ventilation loops is located to the left, and there is a square pitching hole in the east gable. This building is included for its group value.
