Description

The bridge over the River Avill in the Old Park to the east of Dunster Castle dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of stone and features three semi-circular arches, with the central arch being wider and having a depressed triangular parapet. The bridge is adorned with moulded stone copings on the parapets and abutment walls, as well as rock-faced rusticated pilasters and voussoirs.
