Description

No. 1 Castle Hill is an 18th-century building. It is constructed of colourwashed render with a slate roof, prominent eaves cornices, and gabled ends. The building is three storeys high and has three windows on each floor. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within flush frames, with a tripartite configuration on the ground floor. A central, square-headed opening is topped by a flat, moulded wooden hood supported on brackets. The doorframe is stop-moulded, with a framed and studded door.
