Description

Nos 2 and 4, Castle Hill, are a pair of 17th-century buildings. They have a creamwashed rendered exterior, a slate roof, eaves, and a central brick stack. The buildings are two storeys high and feature three windows across the front, with 2, 3, and 4-light leaded casements containing moulded wooden mullions. A stop-moulded oak doorframe with a depressed head frames a ribbed door, topped by a later gabled hood. A matching two-window return elevation is visible on Church Street, featuring windows of a similar design.
