Description

Nos 4, 6, and 8 Church Street are a rank of three cottages dating from the 15th century, with later alterations. The cottages are constructed of rubble and feature a slate roof, with eaves and end gables that have copings. They stand three storeys tall, and the first and second floors have slate-hung fronts with overhangs at the floor levels. There are six windows, which are leaded iron casements set in wood frames, along with stable-type doors. The right-hand end elevation includes 15th century single-light window openings that have moulded stone frames and cusped heads. The interiors are noted to be of interest, but access was not possible at the time of the survey.
