The Dunster Pottery is an 18th-century building that has undergone later alterations. It features a stucco exterior and a slate roof with eaves. The structure is two storeys high and has a full-height angular bay on the right side of the front, which contains three windows with casements and glazing bars. To the left, there is one modern three-light casement window. The ground floor has angular bay windows on either side of glazed double doors. Above the bays and doorway, there is a tiled pent supported by two carved brackets.
