Description

No 8 High Street is a building located behind No 10 High Street, accessible through a passageway on the right. It is probably from the early 18th century and has undergone later alterations. The structure is made of rubble sandstone with render and features slate hanging on the first floor. It has a slate roof and stands two storeys tall. The building has two windows on the upper floor, which are modern 3 and 4-light casements with leaded lights. On the ground floor, there is a modern stable-type door set in a heavy square-headed frame, along with two casement windows.
