Description

Coach Bridge, dated 1679 and altered in the 18th century, is a sandstone ashlar bridge featuring two semi-circular arches over the River Avon. On the west side, there is a rectangular pier that is diminished by three splays, while the east side has a splayed cut water, both of which rise to form refuges. The date stone '1679' is located on the west side. Additionally, there are four stepped buttresses on the west side and plain low parapets with copings.
