Description
North Lodge is a sandstone cottage dating to around the middle of the 19th century, built in a neo-Tudor style within Stoneleigh Deer Park. The building is ashlar construction, with a steeply pitched plain tile roof featuring four gabled ends, wide eaves, and bargeboards. It has a cross-shaped plan and is one storey high with an attic. The north gable faces the main road and incorporates a splayed stone bay window with mullion and transom casements. Above the bay window is a square-headed stone mullion and transom window with leaded lights and a drip mould. The west elevation features a narrow, projecting gabled bay containing a four-centred arched doorway with a plank door and fanlight. To the left and right of this bay are cross mullion and transom casement windows.
