Description

Castle Mill Bridge is a picturesque bridge built in the mid to late 18th century by H. F. Luttrell of Dunster Castle to replace a medieval mill bridge over the River Avill. The bridge is constructed of brick and stone and features two pointed arches. The south side has a low brick parapet, while the north side has a raised but damaged parapet. The bridge also showcases rock-faced rusticated voussoirs.
