Description

Rose Cottage is a 17th-century building located on Dunster Park Street. It features colourwashed render and a rubble thatched roof with an eyebrow dormer and stone end stacks. The cottage has two storeys, with a 2-light metal casement window with leaded lights on the first floor, and a 3-light window and a 2-light window on the ground floor. There is a porch under a thatched 'catslide' roof, which has a plain door and side seats. A later extension at the rear has a double Roman tiled roof. Rose Cottage is part of a charming group of thatched cottages that lead down to the River Avill and Gallox Bridge.
