Description

Nos 27 and 29 on West Street are 17th-century buildings featuring rendering on rubble and a thatched roof with end gables. They have a tall round central front stack on an exposed chimney breast and a brick end stack. The buildings are two storeys high and have three windows, including one three-light and one two-light leaded iron casement in a wooden frame with a spring quadrant. The door opening is square-headed with a plain door set in a heavy chamfered oak frame. These buildings add a picturesque feature to the street scene.
