Description
30 East Street is a house with a shop that may date back to the 17th century or earlier, but was remodeled in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The front features 20th-century wooden shingles on the upper storey, likely covering a timber frame, and has a slated roof. There are two stone rubble chimneys on the right gable wall. The building is two storeys high and two windows wide. The ground storey has a 20th-century shop front on the right. To the left, there is a house door with panelled reveals, where the bottom panels are flush, and further left is a narrow cart entrance with a plank door. A wooden entablature runs across the entire ground storey. The upper storey has barred sash windows, with six over six panes on the left and eight over eight panes on the right.
