Description

No. 14 West Street is a house, likely dating to the late 16th or early 17th century, although it was later re-fronted in the late 19th century. The front is of solid rendered construction, while the rear wall is of stone rubble. The roof is slate-covered, with a red-brick chimney on the right side wall and a stone rubble chimney projecting from the rear gable. The house is two storeys high with a garret, and has two windows across the front. The front has a gable and contains sash windows with two-paned sashes on both the ground storey and in the garret. A doorway is located to the left of the ground storey.
