Description

This is a headstone dated 1781, located approximately 1 metre south of the Church of St Thomas in Sourton. It commemorates Margaret Pellow. The headstone features a carved relief of a winged angel's head at the top, which originally had a scrolled pediment that is now partly broken. The inscription below is in lower case lettering with serifs.
