Description

The Stephens Memorial, located about 4 meters south of the east wall of the Church of St Mary in Dunsford, is a late 19th-century memorial made of cast iron. It features a cross with a central shield and arms that end in fleur de lis, all mounted on a shaped stem with ornamental piercing. The inscription on the central shield commemorates Gwendoline Stephens, who died in 1874. This memorial is noted for its unusual design for an iron structure.
