Description
The monument to Gulielmi J. Stephens is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 20 meters south of the south chapel of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It dates from 1823 and was created by O. and J. Greenway of Downend. The tomb is made of dressed stone and features an oblong shape resting on a plain plinth. It has corner pilasters with grooving and a slab top that is fluted around its outer edge, which includes an inscription.
