Description

No 1 High Street is a cottage in a row, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a pantile roof with gabled ends. The building has brick stacks positioned along the axial and gable ends. The plan suggests it may have been converted from two or more cottages.

The exterior consists of one storey and an attic, with a four-window front. The windows are two-light casements that include horizontal glazing bars, and the attic windows break the eaves with raking roofs. There is a 20th-century rendered porch on the right side, which has a hipped roof.
