Description

This building is a shippon located about 15 metres south-west of Lower Bonehill Farmhouse. It dates from the 17th century or earlier and is constructed of granite rubble. The roof is covered with corrugated iron and the building is one storey high with a loft. The west gable wall features a small original window in the centre of the ground storey, with a drain outlet below it. To the right of the upper storey, there is a blocked window that has a chamfered stone surround. The interior floor has been re-laid with glazed brick, which includes a central drain. The roof timbers were replaced in the 20th century.
