Description
Stouts Cottages is a pair of cottages built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed from large-scale granite rubble and feature a slated roof with stone copings on the gable parapets. Each gable has a stone chimneystack with thatch weatherings. The cottages have a double-depth plan and are two storeys high. The fronts are symmetrical and mirrored, with adjacent doorways in the centre of the ground storey, flanked by a window at each end. Above each doorway, there is a second-storey window. The windows are small 2-light casements with glazing bars.
