Description

Little Thatch is a house that likely dates from the early 18th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a thatched roof. The building has three bays and is one room deep, standing at one and a half storeys. The ground floor windows are wooden and were installed in the mid to late 20th century within earlier openings. There are cambered brick arches above the ground floor openings, which include a two-light casement window on the right, a boarded door, and a three-light casement window on the left. Above, there is a swept dormer with a three-light casement. On the left side, there is a lean-to extension, likely used for an oven, and a large external brick stack is located behind it, with tiled offsets and an 'L' plan chimney that rises clear of the gable. Additionally, there is a small chimney positioned forward of the ridge on the right gable.
