Description
This barn, located approximately 15 metres south of Manor Farm, dates from the late 18th to early 19th century and has been partly rebuilt in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick on a limestone plinth at the north end, with close-studded timber-framing and weatherboarding at the south end. The roof is covered with red tiles and the building has a long rectangular plan.
The west front features double doors at the centre, with weatherboarded bays to the right of the doorway and brick-built bays to the left. There is a single width doorway in the wall opposite the double doors, and diamond-shaped air vents are present in the brick section of the barn. Inside, there are seven bays and four queen-post trusses within the timber-framed area.
