Description

Nos 6 and 8 Vineyard Street are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble and feature a stone slate roof with gable stacks. The houses are two storeys tall with an attic, each having a single window on the upper floors and two-light casements with horizontal bars in the dormers and first floor. The ground floor has three-light casements of the same style. Between the windows, there are two late 20th-century glazed doors that are sheltered by rustic latticed porches topped with stone slate roofs. These houses are part of a continuous row of stepped dwellings.
