Description
11 and 13 Vineyard Street are two houses located at the bottom end of a row, built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed and squared limestone and feature a stone slate mansard roof with brick gable stacks. The houses are two storeys tall with an attic and have a symmetrical 2+2 window arrangement. Each dwelling has one 2-light dormer above 2-light casement windows that have horizontal bars and segmental heads with voussoirs. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light casement windows and one single light window on the far right.
The entrance to No 11 features a 4-panel door with a segmental head, set in a rustic lattice porch with a stone slate roof, positioned centrally under the dormer and between the windows. No 13 has a similar 4-panel part-glazed door located under the second window bay. Notably, there is a fine round moulded rainwater head on the left end of No 13. The property also includes a deep return wing and connects to the walling of Vineyard Street Bridge at the end of a continuous stepped row of dwellings.
