Description
Number 9 on Vineyard Street is an early 19th-century house that is part of a row of similar dwellings. It is constructed from squared and coursed limestone and features a stone slate mansard roof with a gable stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a single window on each level. The attic has a 2-light 19th-century casement window set in a flat dormer, while the main floor has a 3-light 19th-century casement window with horizontal bars, positioned under voussoirs. The ground floor also features a similar 3-light casement window, but this one is set beneath a segmental head. The entrance consists of a 4-panel flush door with a segmental head, sheltered by a rustic lattice porch that has a stone slate roof. This house is part of a continuous stepped row of dwellings.
