Description
This building is a barn/store located approximately 20 meters north of Rudgeway Farm, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a red tile roof with a brick stack. The structure has an 'L'-shaped plan, with a three-bay barn running east-west and a store extending south parallel to the road.
The barn has double plank doors on the north side, topped with a gable that includes a circular bull's-eye ventilation hole near the apex. There are round-headed blind arcading on either side of the entrance and round-headed ventilation slits in each bay. The gable end facing the road also features similar arcading.
To the left, the two-storey store has a pitching door located in the upper left. It includes two-light segmental-headed windows on both the ground and first floors, with two of these windows being blind. The gable end has a double-width plank door within a segmental-headed surround, along with a two-light casement window above it. Steps lead up to a loft access door on the left-hand return, with a plank door in a segmental-headed surround to the ground floor left of the steps. There are also two-light segmental-headed windows, one of which is blind. A brick stack rises from the corner of the gable end to the left of the double doors. The interior has not been inspected.
